Computer Labs

Shaw University has several computer labs across campus. Shaw’s Windows systems are standardized on Lenovo and Dell workstations with high end components, including Intel processors and solid-state hard drives. All Windows-based computers are running Windows 10. Systems are centrally managed with Microsoft Active Directory and other system management tools. There are also web browsing kiosks in some lab locations running Chrome OS and are managed by the Google Suite. We have Macs in the Mass Communication department running Mac OS and the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Smart Rooms

Our standard classroom configuration includes a 4K digital Smartboard powered by a Windows 10 PC. We are actively upgrading any remaining older analog technologies or projector-based smartboards.
