What are employee matching gift programs?

Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations.

How do I request a matching gift or volunteer grant?

Requesting a matching gift is normally a five minute process which must be initiated by the donor. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process. Please search our database for company specific information.

How is this information obtained?

We partner with a company called Double the Donation. If you see anything that should be changed, please email Double the Donation’s team at data@doublethedonation.com.

What if I still have questions?

The purpose of the National Alumni Association (NAA) is:

to unite and promote fellowship among Shaw University alumni and friends;

to encourage individual financial support of Shaw University through annual giving;

to stimulate interest among potential students to attend Shaw University;

to honor alumni who have given outstanding service;

to improve communications between chapters and individuals where no chapter exists;

to encourage and promote new chapters;

to promote continuing growth and development of Alumni and

to sustain interest in the welfare of Shaw University.

Membership in NAA is $50 a year for regular membership; $1,000 for life membership.

Your participation is needed to keep Shaw University viable for future generations.
