Programs Offered

Computer Science

The B.S. in Computer Science at Shaw University offers comprehensive instruction in essential areas such as software development, web computing, networking, and computer graphics. This program prepares students for graduate studies or careers in software engineering, data science, and network architecture. The curriculum includes both general education and specialized courses in programming, algorithms, and software engineering, with elective options to explore interests beyond computer science.

Cyber Operations

The B.S. in Cyber Operations at Shaw University prepares students for careers in cybersecurity, focusing on ethical hacking, malware analysis, and cyber threat hunting. The program covers programming, data structures, networks, security policy, virtualization, and ethical hacking. Graduates are well-equipped for roles such as information security analysts, penetration testers, and cybersecurity policy advisors. The curriculum includes general education and specialized courses, blending technical and non-technical skills in areas like cyber policy, law, and ethics. No prior programming experience is required.
