The Department of Humanities, Arts, and General Studies offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in General Studies, and Music. It also has minors in Music, English, African American Studies, and History.

Our Mission is to give students a solid academic foundation encompassing critical thinking, writing, and to encourage students to examine the common issues and themes that run throughout our history, culture, and society, providing a well-rounded, human experience.

Our vision is to enhance students’ aesthetic and artistic awareness while improving skills in visual, audio, written, and digital formats.
