Shaw University offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science or Political Science: International Relations. As a student in the Political Science degree program, you will gain a solid background in political institutions that prepare you to pursue a career or enter graduate school. You will develop skills in critical thinking, research and writing and gain valuable skills and knowledge in the workings of government.

Concentrations Offered

International Relations

The International Relations concentration is intended for students who wish to pursue a career in business with a specialization in the international dimension or a career in international relations with a specialization in economics and business. Both of these career tracks are in high demand.

Degree Requirements

For the International Relations Concentration, students will complete the program requirements of the Political Science major, 60 credits, and an additional 12 credit hours in International Relations.
