Degree Requirements

General Education Core Requirements in areas ranging from Cross Cultural Ethics of Responsibility and to Basic Instructional Technology and Psychology. Core courses give you a strong foundation for any career.

Major Program Requirements requires that you complete 73 credit hours specific to Education, including field experience opportunities. As a candidate for the Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, you must earn a grade of “C” or better in all major courses and be official admitted into the program. Graduates are eligible for state licensure to become certified teachers in public schools.
