The Cyber Operations program will provide you with a solid foundation in programming, data structures, networks, security policy and risk, virtualization, malware analysis and ethical hacking. You will merge technical skills with practical knowledge for a balanced skillset in areas of cyber policy, law, and ethics. Our curriculum is designed to equip you with the technical skills and strategic thinking necessary to effectively detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats.

Our industry-experienced faculty will engage students in real-world simulation environments, such as red-team or blue-team initiatives with various agencies in support of national security. If your career goals include protecting information, combating cybercrimes, and ensuring integrity of digital infrastructures our Cyber Operations program awaits you to begin gaining the invaluable experience and building a professional network to ensure your success in an ever-expanding digital world.

Degree Requirements

General Education Core Requirements in areas range from Sociology and Public Speaking to Concepts of the Computers and Psychology. General education courses give you a strong foundation for any career.

Major Program Requirements requires 60 credit hours in areas related to programming, data structures, algorithms, networking, web development, and software engineering. Your performance in foundational mathematics, sciences, and programming courses will be strong indicators of success. As a candidate for the Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Operations, you must earn a “C” or better in all major courses.
