The Computer Science (CSC) degree offers instruction and performs research in the essential areas of computer science including software, web and Internet computing, networking, hardware systems, operating systems, compilers, parallel and distributed computing, theory of computing, and computer graphics. Degree Requirements

General Education Core Requirements, in areas ranging from African American History and Public Speaking to Concepts of the Computers and Psychology. General ed courses give you a strong foundation for any career.

Department Requirements in focus areas related to programming, data structures, algorithms, networking, web development, and software engineering. Additionally, there are elective credits available to provide the opportunity to merge areas of interest beyond computer science.
